Jhony Gonzalez

Founder

Jhony Gonzalez is the Founder of the First Touch Foundation, dedicated to providing opportunity to underserved youth across the Soccer community. Built on the belief that one opportunity can change a life, Jhony created the foundation to remove financial barriers that prevent young athletes from stepping onto the field with confidence.

With deep relationships throughout the soccer community—ranging from grassroots coaches to former professional players—Jhony has developed a powerful network committed to access, mentorship, and long-term impact. His leadership brings together ambassadors, Professional athletes, and community partners who share a unified mission: no child should miss their “first touch” because of financial hardship.

Jhony’s vision extends beyond equipment. He believes soccer is a vehicle for discipline, leadership, and character development. Through strategic partnerships, ambassador programs, and community outreach, he is building a foundation that not only equips players—but empowers futures.

Wilder Arboleda

Chair/ Co-Founder/ COO

Wilder Arboleda serves on the Board of Directors of the First Touch Foundation, bringing strong community relationships and a deep passion for youth development through sport. He supports the foundation’s mission to remove financial barriers in soccer and expand access to opportunity for underserved athletes. Wilder is committed to helping build sustainable pathways that empower the next generation both on and off the field.

Edward Gonzalez

Co-Founder/ Vice chair/ Director of Player Relations

Edward Gonzalez serves as Founding Partner & Ambassador Board Member of the First Touch Foundation, helping strengthen the organization’s community presence and outreach efforts. With a passion for mentorship and youth development, Edward supports the foundation’s mission to remove financial barriers in soccer and expand access to opportunity for underserved athletes. He is committed to using his voice and network to inspire impact both on and off the field.

Luis Silva

Vice Chair, Captain of the Foundation XI.

Luis Silva is a Founding Partner and Board Member of the First Touch Foundation and leads the Foundation XI, a group of current and former professional players serving as ambassadors and mentors. He drives strategic partnerships and initiatives that expand access to soccer for underserved youth, using the game as a platform for mentorship, leadership, and opportunity.

Vice Chair
